1958 Penn Yan Dynamold

This is a wood outboard runabout Model YS 16. It is 15' 2" long with a beam of 68" and weighs around 300 pounds. Simple plywood construction combined with an elegant varnished fore deck, gunwales and traditional Penn Yan flat rib interior, make this an attractive yet simple, and inexpensive restoration. This is an ideal boat for getting started with the antique and classic boat hobby. Period correct steering wheel, windshield, Evenrude controls, and the old two hose gas tank are still with the boat. You get to pick your own outboard, 18hp to 35hp would work nicely. Can also supply a trailer if needed. Boat located in New Gloucester Maine.

Asking - $495

Reproduction Vintage Boats

Reproduction Vintage Boats

We recently completed a reproduction of a 21 foot Gentleman’s Racer, and we would like to do another. The hull is an aft cockpit speedster design, very similar to my beloved Obsession, in fact we spent a lot of time measuring the lines of Obsession and only made a few modifications. This new hull was constructed of white oak frames with Honduras Mahogany planking, and powered by a 383 Chevy “stroker” motor.

If interested, we can build one for you ???!!!
