This
summer's 39th Annual
Lake Winnipesaukee Antique & Classic Boat Show at the
Meredith public docks will be another huge gathering of
over 80 beautiful antique and
classic wooden boats
on display all day
long in a judged competition at the docks. There will also be a large
display of non-judged antique and classic boats on trailers in
the adjacent Hesky Park. And new this year will be a Field of
Dreams of antique and classic boats for sale, also located
in the Hesky Park area.
This will quite a sight to behold, with all
the beautiful vintage boats and the large crowds. For a special
treat, get to the docks early on Saturday morning to watch and
listen as the vintage boats arrive under their
own power. The sights and sounds will be
magnificent, and to get an idea of the magnitude of this gathering

Century boats will be the featured marque
this year we are expecting a
large showing of Century boats, but all
antique and classic boats are welcomed.
For
participants, don’t miss our Friday afternoon
Judging Clinic
with a review of our new ACBS judging rules hosted by our chief judge,
Bo Muller. This will be an open discussion of our ACBS judging rules, and
Bo will take the time to answer all questions and explain the
reasoning behind the rules.
New ACBS Judging Rules
On Friday evening, at the Opening
Cocktail Reception and registration,
participants can pick up their registration packets and enjoy a
social gathering with
good friends, hors d’oeuvres, live music
and a cash bar. This is also a chance to get the latest
updates for the boat show logistics.
And please plan on arriving early for
the boat show on Saturday morning, as we are expecting
another large turnout of antique and classic boats.
As usual, the weather
forecast for our 39th Annual Boat Show in Meredith will be hot and
sunny, as we fill the Meredith public docks and Hesky Park with our beautiful vintage
boats.
This
spectacular event is presented by the New England
Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society, a very active local
group of over 300 members. Our boat
show registration form is posted on our Website and a
special registration mailing to all chapter members was
mailed last winter.
Please register early to help us plan
for a gala event and celebration.
All social activities on Friday, Saturday
and Sunday will
be at Chase House, Inn at Mill Falls. Please take a moment to review
our registration form and note that we we are reaching to
families and non-judged boats through special pricing, we

It
takes an army of volunteers to put on a boat show of this
size, and because Century is the honored boat this year,
we are expecting a huge turnout for our 39th annual ACBS
Boat Show. We need setup crew, morning docking crew,
afternoon docking crew, greeters,
judges, escorts and takedown crew.
This is a great way to see the boats
up close, learn how the judging is done, meet lots of new
friends, and enjoy our spectacular ACBS boat show !!!
