The New
England Lyman Group is celebrating its 11th anniversary this
year, founded in 1999 by a small group of Lyman owners
who were gathered at the ACBS boat show at the Weirs. They decided to
create a Lyman forum
to gather information and learn about
the boats and the history of Lyman boats. Over the
last 10 years, many interesting meetings have been held. They
also contribute to the NH
Boat Museum and provide
scholarships for the summer boat building school.
This year's
Lyman gathering includes a trek to Lake Sunapee on
Thursday and Lake Wentworth on Friday, with the boat show at the Wolfeboro
town docks on Saturday.
